Quick update

Tonight we begin our 17-hour trek to Florida. The forecast...mid-70s to 80s all next week. Thank the sweet Lord. I'll be thinking about all of you while I'm sitting in the hot tub with a drink in hand watching the munchkin frolic in the water. Man, am I ready for this vacay!

The munchkin is fighting the cold still. What is it with kids and colds that they produce more snot than an adult does in an entire year? Thankfully she's used to the nasal aspirator now. She'll even tilt her head back when she sees it coming.

Daycare is getting better. Yesterday she didn't even cry when I left, and they told the hubs that she did VERY well. The only issue is that she just will not nap for very long. The first couple of days she napped for like an hour and 45 minutes. Yesterday it was only 35 minutes. Does anyone recommend anything? The only time she really takes a good nap is when she's curled up with the hubs or me.

And did you hear about boyfriend? I'm gonna have to spank him. :)

I hope to have a post mid-vacay next week, but if I don't, y'all have a good one!

My boyfriend is better than yours.

I told hubs that MP is my boyfried, so he felt it necessary to insult him. Ass. Why are men so retarded? He then revealed to me who his new girl is...Jessica Biel. Whatevs.

I actually completed one of my many projects this weekend - a picture wall. It's the wall in our stairwell that's been bare since we moved in. I finally got all the pictures I wanted into frames and hung them. It looks really good. I'll try to post a pic when my camera battery charges.

Speaking of cameras...I cannot tell y'all how badly I want a new one. The one I have is a really nice camera, but I reeeaaalllyyy want a digital SLR. I posted the link to Best Buy because they have a big list. I know hubs doesn't want me to spend that much money on a camera since I have one that works fine, but I just WANT it. I don't want to be a professional photographer or anything; I just want to be able to capture all of Mary's moments instantly, ya know?

There was something else I wanted to rant about, but I can't remember right now (that seems to be happening often lately). Well I've gotta run to the post office, so y'all have a good day!

It's all been said and done

Due to complete exhaustion, I probably missed one of the most exciting meets in Olympic swimming history.

But you KNOW I got boyfriend on DVR.

And you know what? He just did what I knew he could do...became the biggest Olympic champion ever. 16 career medals, 14 of them gold, 8 won during one Olympics. And he's 23.

Such an awesome Olympics. I have honestly never watched an Olympics this much. As long as he's there, I'll be a dedicated viewer...and girlfriend. =)

After a heartfelt reunion with my dear Spotter Boy, it was time for boyfriend to swim. And, of course, he won. He's six for six now with number seven being attempted on Saturday. If he wins on Saturday morning, he'll match Mark Spitz for the number of gold medals won in an Olympics.

Ok, this post has been sitting on my desktop since 9:30 this morning. I have no idea what else I was going to talk about. Soooo everyone have a good weekend!

Boyfriend is the World's Best!!

I was hanging on the edge of my seat watching MP race last night. Honestly, though, he beat the others so easily. He's now history's best Olympian (Olympiad?) with 11 career gold medals. I'm so proud...he's gettin' lots of love when he comes home. ;)

Haha, in my dreams. Literally.

Hubs came home last night. I'm not sure what time because I was out.

Crap, I've gotta run to the Taj Mahal. Lata.

Boyfriend Update

So boyfriend is now three for three in his goal of winning the most gold medals in an Olympics (Mark Spitz holds the record with seven, I believe). I totally know he can do it. I mean, have you SEEN my boyfriend? My knees shake just thinkin' about him.

I sound totally obsessed, but that's ok because hubs obsesses over Jennifer Aniston. I need mine, too.

I mean, how can you not loooove him?

In other news, hubs comes home tonight, thank the sweet Lord. I'm ready for him to be here. I mean, if boyfriend has to be in China, hubs will do. =)

Can anyone remember when their kids first sat up on their own? Maybe it's my fault, but Mary still falls over every time, and I know she should be doing well with it by now. With her size, it's expected that's she be a little slow in developing some strengths, but I still wonder. Any thoughts?
